While I may not be able to show you how to polka dance like my parents would at weddings back in the day I can definitely share with you how to wear polka dots!
I heard somewhere that polka dots are the new neutral like how snakeskin and metallics have become nowadays. It may just be me but whenever I used to see polka dot apparel my mind immediately takes me to Lucy Ball vibes, which I absolutely love. This print does not have to be all about channeling vintage vibes though, it can also be for the gal that gravitates towards basics with maybe pops of color in her accessories or shoes.
Also it’s not just limited to polka dot dresses, Navabi has items in polka dot from trousers, to tops, jackets and more! Did a bit of a roundup for you guys with pieces that can transition from daytime looks at the office to weekend fun or running errands! Oh and for those that do not frequent the Old Town area I shot these photos with Sarah at this ahhhmazing outdoor art installation called Mirror Mirror right on the waterfront! Basically it is a sound responsive installation. Of course it also makes a perfect backdrop for my look from Navabi too! You can check out this Installation until May!
So are you guys on this polka dot trend that is here to stay!?
